The S 6600 safety tester required a holistic product and interface design that would bring together the hardware, housing and user interface into a consistent design language. The aim was to visually communicate the testing device’s technical precision and performance.
The design combines a precisely engineered housing with a clearly structured user interface. The robust metal enclosure conveys technical expertise and quality, while the ergonomically angled front panel ensures optimal readability and intuitive operation.
The front panel is designed as an injection-moulded plastic component with interchangeable inserts, allowing flexible adaptation to different connector configurations. An interchangeable mould insert enables cost-effective production of various configurations while maintaining a common housing platform.
Hardware and software share a unified visual language, creating a cohesive overall system that communicates technical precision, flexibility and ease of use through both its appearance and operation.
